YOU can turn activity into accomplishment.
YOU can turn activity into accomplishment.
This week I want you to think about how you can focus your activities toward the specific accomplishments you desire.
What does it mean to focus your activity?
The right things
Just being busy will not get you the desired results. You must do the right things, such as getting new prospects, setting appointments, making presentations, obtaining referrals, and being organized.
Correctly
Be sure you are doing these activities correctly: making the calls, talking to people, and making presentations. The better you get at your profession, the more people you will serve and the more people you will sell.
Daily
Success requires—no, DEMANDS—daily effort. You cannot make up for a day you didn’t work. You can’t work an extra hour tomorrow to make up for the eight hours you missed yesterday. Make sure you are highly active every day.
Remember what others have said about effort:
The dictionary is the only place in which success comes before work. Hard work is the price we must pay for success. I think you can accomplish anything if you're willing to pay the price.
All the so-called "secrets of success" will not work unless you do.
